Nice little site ...adults only which is what we always look for and was greeted by the owners whom were very friendly..generously sized hardstanding pitches nice and flat ...couple of negatives which is why I only gave 4 stars, 1st one was the trains going by every 15min or so which kind of ruins the serenity but handy if you want a trip to York from there as you can get the train from the station just down the road. The 2nd was no heating in the showers/toilets ..mid Feb not the time to be taking a shower here...Will return but probably in the summer...Weather was shocking as well but didn't let it ruin our weekend.

This was our first ever touring caravan trip. Towing, setting up, living in the caravan. The owner was very helpful especially in view of our inexperience. The site is beautifully maintained with plenty of room around each caravan. We also met others on the site, lovely and friendly and one chap in particular went out of his way to offer help, and considering my husband is using crutches was very much appreciated. Thank you Brenda House, it was a pleasure, and we will look forward to staying again.
