What a lovely airfield. Hadn't been for nearly a year and a new clubhouse/cafe had been built with lots of lovely cakes, soup, sandwiches and snacks. You could sit in the cafe and had a clear view of the planes taking off and landing. There were planes galore! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. There was Information of upcoming events on each table and if you want to become a member it is only 35 pounds, for the year, which is a snip for what they offer. Lots of outside viewing and sitting areas as well. Had a lovely Sunday afternoon and the sun was shining. What an asset to the area. ๐Ÿ™‚
