We recently took friends to visit Breamore House , having visited many times ourselves. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience, our timid labrador was viciously attacked by the owners dog as we walked past the house . She sustained injuries requiring veterinary intervention furthering the trauma to her. The owner’s only disappointing response was to repeat that it was her home, we have tried to correspond via the estate but have not received any response.

Owner has aggressive dogs and leaves them to roam off of the lead.

Fabulous tour of Breamore House given by our knowledgeable guide Tom. Need to be booked in advance but a lovely hour being given info about previous owners etc and a look at their art work. Nearby museum and cafe were delightful. The tours start at two and the cafe shuts at 4 so best to get lunch first then go for the tour.
