Our host was really quiet, we didn't really understand what she was saying. When asking for a clue it took them ages to get it to us. Some equipment was really old. Not a great experience overall.

Very disappointing. The waiting area was a bit drab. The staff member dealing with us was very quiet and hard to hear. Despite the scenario descriptions written online, there was nothing else given to this at the venue. The room itself was much more bare than expected with broken props and clues that were never used. One of our padlocks would not open even though we had the right code and even after the staff member used his "cheat sheet" it did not work so they ended up having to use a screw driver the take the hinges off the box which led to us loosing time and access to both of the rooms we had to do. This left the puzzles unsolvable and we were only given some extra time in the way of compensation despite acknowledgement that it was their fault entirely, overall a very very disappointing experience especially for the price. I would not go back here again.

First off, trying to find this place wasn’t easy! There’s no sign above the door like it shows on the website. Once found, we headed up stairs and couldn’t get in the door, just saw a kids party happening. Finally let in & was told to go next door for a drink while they set up. We entered the Fallout shelter. So many padlocks and codes to enter. Didn’t feel like it was as fun as we’d expected. The props were all damaged, it felt like it had just gone down hill. For my first experience of an escape room, it really wasn’t something I’d do again or perhaps visit here again. As for your photos taken at the end, you won’t see them ever. Been ignored several times via emails and on social media. This place is a let down, it prob could do with closing down or having a huge refurbishment.

Really, really poor escape room! We did the Curse of the Sphinx, the room and props were all shabby and over-used. Many of the puzzles had broken elements, including the grande finale puzzle, so several times we had to call the game master in to proceed. Too many 4-digit padlocks so every time you get a code, you spend 5 minutes trying every padlock in the room.. The whole experience was disappointing and I'm shocked that this place has such a high rating. Don't waste your time, go to Escape Leicester instead.
