    Owner, Host,Compere, (agent ?) Spikey Mike is an absolute legend. Loads of today's big names have honed their craft through performing at his many venues. (and they keep returning with new material too, especially on the build up to the Edinburgh Fringe.) All his acts come quality vetted and have fresh, varied and topical material to cover a great range of genre's and age ranges. The atmosphere is always happy, relaxed and welcoming. He greets and gels with his audience with great fun in a positively cheerful and interesting manner. He operates with fine tuned Punctuality, (his way with timing is everything). New audience guests are always acknowledged and made to feel at ease and regularly reappear at his following gigs with additional friends etc, for another dose of humour. Thanks Spikey for 15 years of laughter for me so far, keep up the sterling work. But most importantly of all, cheers for helping make today's strange world a happier place.     I was disapointed with the comedians the seats were hard given the time we were sat down the ballroom is a nice venue though with different comedians would have been a great night
