    We had a wonderful 3 days /2 nights break on Mae Bee. Howard was a fantastic host with excellent instructions for our first time experience of barging. This beautiful Barney Barge was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed on board. Log fire, instant hot water, cooking facilities and other little added luxuries. Travelled from Altofs to Horbury Bridge and back up the Calder and Hebble Canal.

    Had a fantastic time aboard Maebee this weekend, had two nights onboard. Travelled to Woodlesford Lock for our first night, then motored back down through Castleford and further east for an overnight stay A really tranquil, calming way to spend a weekend. The boats really well equipped and Howard gives excellent instruction to ensure you are comfortable with the locks and boat operation Highly recommended

    Amazing experience. Really friendly owner who organised the location of where the barge would be moored on our arrival. Spent over an hour showing me the basics of how to navigate it. The barge itself was impeccably clean and tidy. It looked very modern inside. It had an array of everyday essentials fully stocked such as tea, coffee, sugar, cooking utensils, toiletries ect. We had access to the onboard free wifi, netflix and freeview tv. It was like home from home. Everything worked perfectly from the gas oven/stove to the instant hot water. Having a shower in the morning was great. I will definately be comming back again.
