This is very good school. My child was always happy to go there. The stuff was professional and friendly. It was so great to have an opportunity to meet the Headteacher of the school every morning. I felt that my child got appropriate care and enough time for play and develop his skills and knowledge. I highly recommend this school as one of the best in Southsea.

I was shocked by how some members of staff treated children and parents, my daughter was at Brambles for 2 to 3 weeks and my last day there left my shaking with outrage! Over a number of days, I was made to feel as if I were an overbearing parent for wanting to stay and see that my daughter had settled OK when I dropped her off, I was told that it was my fault that my daughter was upset when I first left her there to settle (it was an unfamiliar environment for her and we had just joined.) The last time I dropped her off there, my daughter got into hysterics and was trying to get to me, I was on the other side of a glass door. There was NO member of staff there to comfort her, the door was locked and I was banging on it to get someone's attention. When the staff did come they at first took her away from my sight (still in hysterics), then the staff told me it was my fault she was hysterical, then when I stood my ground and insisted on seeing her the staff member roughly pulled her by the arm and pushed her out of the door to me... taking out their own misgivings against me on my daughter... absolutely horrible! Like something from a parent's nightmare! We left that moment, that day and never looked back. Stay away!
