Went into Terry's gallery today as my husband and kids were buying me a piece for my birthday. Can I say I was overwhelmed. The staff are so welcoming and know his work so well. The stories behind his pieces are so interesting. Mary, who helped us was so helpful it didn't matter if you were just browsing or buying every customer was treated the same. Both ladies were so approachable. It is great to have a piece of his art. And so proud as he is from Belfast.

Excellent artist, it's just a shame the reframe of our print which fell was left with small fingerprints on the inside of the glass, the authenticity certificate of the new print I purchased is damp and half stuck to the back with a dab of glue. My girlfriend went in to the Belfast store to collect as we parked waiting out the back of the store, but neither of the two ladies in the store were "allowed" to help carry one of the items out for her, causing her to make two trips. Apparently Terry has told them they are "not allowed to carry outside of the shop" due to insurance and liability issues. I'd have brought it back but this is the second 100 mile round trip we've had to make for this, we just don't have the time for another trip. In other words, great artist, poor reframing and surprising customer service from the Belfast store, the complete opposite of what we experienced in Bangor the previous week, the Bangor store is perfect.
