I have been visiting Raskelf lake since the mid 1970s, its an old gravel pit which was purposely extended for angling. In recent years it has been a major match venue recording nets of over 50lbs Main species are F1 carp,Tench, Bream, Ide, Roach, Perch and recently stocked Barbel. It has good parking on enclosed land adjacent to pegs which are mainly sited on steel platforms.t The water is controlled by Bradford no1 AA who also have a comprehensive list of other venues of lakes, ponds, and rivers.
