We went to SoChoir for the first time this week (Feb 23). There was free parking on Sheaf Street after 6 pm just a couple of minutes away from The Tetley. We found everybody at SoChoir to be friendly and the atmosphere fun and layed back. There were about 30 odd people there to sing in the highs, mids and lows so it sounded great. We really enjoyed ourselves and will defo be back after half term. Cheers guys!!!

This choir is great fun to be part of. Nic and Stu are super entertaining and provide great tracks to sing every week. Some songs you know, some you don’t but you end up loving them by the end of the session. I’d highly recommend it.

What an absolute gem this choir is. Really friendly, varied bunch, don''t take themselves too seriously, any ability is welcome, and all the songs are very well arranged across lows, mids and highs, so any ability can get involved and have a great time. I wasn't expecting the organisers to be playing keys and guitar live to accompany the tracks as well - really great setup, and a quality selection of guest ales in the bar as well. Very highly recommended!

I had a great time trying out SoChoir - received a friendly welcome and Nik couldn't have been more upbeat, non judgy and encouraging. I'm NOT a singer, but the way Nik organises and runs the session was great fun and completely inclusive, so I felt able to join in, even when I want completely clear about things. If you're looking for a friendly, informal place to make a joyful noise, then SoChoir might be just the place for you!

I'd been wanting to sing but was a bit intimidated by the thought of a formal choir. This was the perfect solution - just turn up, have a beer and belt it out. And the end result sounded amazing! Really welcoming, lovely people and a great way to de-stress after a day at work.
