Called 111 as pulled muscle in my calf. Got appointment at Minor Injuries Unit. Seen within 5 minutes of checking in and seen by lovely practitioner Linda. Given diagnosis of torn muscle and advice and sent on my way with crutches. Whole experience could not of been better. Well done.

Went in with a suspected stress fracture in my ankle that has gotten progressively worse, to the point where I can barely walk on it. Waited an hour to be told I was 'walking well' and refused an x-ray because the pain started more than 2 weeks ago and the bone 'probably would have healed'. Staff had no interest in listening to what I had to say. The very little guidance I was given was unhelpful and for the most part, completely incorrect. Extremely frustrating experience and complete waste of time.

Was sent here by 111 and given a specific time for a child to be seen. I was made to wait 1.5 hours. The area wasnt busy (just us and 1 other). I spoke to the receptionist 3 times who said they were busy but all I could see were the staff hanging around having social chat sessions! My previous visit was alot better however the advice provided didnât apparently match what was noted on the system from what the consultant told me this time. Comments made on my childs pain levels were not helpful at all and caused upset. I would not recommend this place, someone needs to supervise the chit chat crew that were clearly all on shift yesterday evening and ensure consistent advice is given to patients! Waste of time and i will be seeking a second medical opinion.

I attended the care centre today, the emergency nurse who reviews the walk ins her name is Sherelle was beyond rude. She raised her voice multiple times and said to me I have no idea why you are here, I had pulled a ligament in my foot wasn't sure if it was a fracture or not, my gp had sent me, she tried to brush me off back to my surgery after waiting for two hours. Her mannerism was horrendous I would not ever want to be treated by Sherelle again, I then asked to speak to the Asian lady in charge and she was fantastic so polite and so apologetic for Sherelle's behaviour I understand strikes and so forth are going on but you shouldn't speak to someone the way she did. Would appreciate it if someone who works in the hospital can speak to Sherelle on how to speak to patient politely, as in the waiting room I heard she had also been the same way with another person.

Again like many of the previous reviews I also received rude service. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly, but when it came to the consultation she couldnât get rid of me fast enough, despite an empty waiting room. I understand if help can not be offered but a rude and dismissive tone is unnecessary. I think they just classify everything as an âillnessâ to get rid of you. I thought the point of these walk in centres is take the pressure of the A&E hospital departments.
