Generally good experiences. The areas we the public ( are still allowed to) use are generally well-kept and I have never had any problems with comunications or provision of services.....what I cannot understand though, is that I am categorically not allowed to run a business from my home, yet it seems that whoever wants to can park whatever fleet of work lorries or vans ,often liveried, wherever they like in the street for as long as they like and cause as much disturbance as they like loading those vans or lorries often at anti-social hours of the day. How is that fair.

Useless. Over the course of living in their area, we’ve been charged a council tax fee twice in one month and then refunded without any communication. We now moved out and were sent a letter mid august that we were due a refund. Called up last week - yes all coming through will be with us by Friday. We called back this week, woman on the phone said the refund was approved as we speak. Still no money back!! Their website is clunky to navigate and council tax account doesn’t even work online. Whole staff needs replacing, don’t know where they’re finding these people.

Not surprised to see the negative reviews about council tax department here. I sent them a message 6 months ago. I never got a response. Instead they insist on sending communications via a third party unrelated to the property. What sort of rubbish action is that? I feel sorry for people who have to deal with the council on a daily basis if this level of ineptitude is typical.

Unfortunately, there is no way to give minus 5 stars, but if there was such option, I would definitely use it! Very bad service. The neighbor's dog barks and howls all day non-stop. I sometimes work from home and struggle to concentrate on my work. When I called the Bracknell Forest Council, they told me I would have to monitor the noise for four weeks! Seriously??! Not even a week, four weeks!!! I need to take four weeks off to listen to the dog barks to fill out a form for them so they can take any action??? They wouldn’t dear to even send a letter to my neighbor, they also said that I need to cope and deal with it myself.
