Recently completed my beginners course with BOB - Bowmen of Bruntwood. Both of the Instructors were very welcoming, concise & humble. The course itself consisted of 2 x 3-hour sessions on Saturday and Sunday morning from 9am, the introduction into the equipment, use and ongoing development was provided proactively in a side-by-side coaching style (perfect for me) and now knowing post Club Registration that instruction is free dependent on time and availability there is an excellent opportunity to learn! The club has just celebrated its 70th birthday and with about 135 members (and growing) it is going strong. Do be aware though the waiting list for instruction is full. Not a surprise after my experience to be fair. Extremely glad I did it and very much looking forward to beginning a new hobby journey!

Great archery club with 24 hour accessible indoor range and an outdoor range as well. Has members of all standards and a nice sense of community. There are monthly club shoots as well as postal competitions to keep you busy year round.
