Sam and his team (Bowles the younger) have recently completed a large architect designed extension for me over a period of 5 months. The project was challenging on a number of fronts. It involved initial landscaping over a large area, ground works, steelwork on 4 sides of the 9x5m extension, integration into the current build, GRP roofing, fitting out, flooring and over 100m2 of porcelain paving. Sam is an energetic individual whose technical skill is without question. Projects like this are invariably fraught with unforeseen problems and Sam was always ready with alternative options with an eye on cost. He did the job I would have liked to have done myself. The team were always cheerful, punctual and never wasted time waiting for the material shortages caused by Covid. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bowles Builders. Bowles Building to my rescue! I’d started to think getting my kitchen/diner partitioning wall knocked down was never going to happen. Then whilst out walking I spotted the BB van and thought right I’m going to talk to these guys. By chance I ended up talking to Sam (the son of the father and son business) ………to start nothing related to building (long story) but then I spoke about what I wanted doing. I emailed him soon as I got back from my walk, then the same evening Sam was in touch and we got the ball rolling. Sam was round to look at the job within the following week, he put me completely at ease regarding load bearing walls and potential options if needed, he went through the process and clear up of the whole job then submitted me a quote a couple of days later. We then had Bowles Building complete the work within a couple of weeks, Sam knew we wanted it done asap so managed to schedule us in just before Christmas. He was in touch every step of the way, before during and after. The job was completed as per our discussions and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome, very tidy, clean and respectful of the job and your property. Bowles Building will be round again very soon to work on many more of my house projects, I’m extremely happy with their work and service so don’t hesitate getting in touch with them.
