Had a quiet few days here, however it is too quiet for us with children. We rented the cottage for 3 days and it was a lovely property we really did like the cottage but a big let down was the jaccuzi bathtub doesn't work, we asked at reception about this and was told that it was for show and has never worked so that was really disappointing. The childrens play areas are very poor and The pub doesn't do food Tuesday and Wednesday so we had to drive 8 miles to find a pub to eat and also no shops nearby the onsite shop isn't really a shop so your kind of isolated if you don't have a car. The staff on reception was helpful and we Enjoyed the cottage and the 3 days relax but would I stay again? If we could move the cottage to a different location with more facilities yes but i would not return to this site with children. It's not somewhere I would usually book but the options of places to book on park holidays wasn't very many place available so we had to pick somewhere.

Lovely place spoilt by a corporate company being greedy the new lay out and caravans being cramed every where has spoilt a lovely site. The new pub has no atmosphere it ran out of food and beer when we were there and the food quality is bad and service poor. Speaking to van owners they are up in arms with changes and the attitude of the staff some owners had been on there for years and have been told to leave and been given little in the sales of there vans I wouldn't be booking here to be honest if you have any morals
