Absolutely fantastic. Just joined the PDSA in Castle Lane and one of our dogs had to have a wart removed above his eye. The vet was lovely, as were all the staff we had dealings with. First rate, professional care from a practice that really cares. Thank you so much.

Absaloutly shocked with the way I have just been spoken to by a very rude lady on the phone called Bev. I called as I have recently got a puppy who is unwell and have another dog registered with pdsa but due to only getting our pup very recently we hadnt had time to register him. When explaining what was wrong with my pup she asked if he had his jabs I explained that he had already had his first set. I then got well why are you calling us a bit shocked I said because he's very un well and unuable to wait to be seen and this is the vets I use for my other dog and will also be my pups registered vet. She assumed he was registered else where as he'd had his 1st jabs and was microchipped. When explaining that this wasn't the case she still had an extremely bad attitude with me saying well you wouldn't pay for a private doctor and then go and use the NHS. I explained i PAY for my dog and will be for my pup the same as I would if I used another vet she rudely said well aslong as you know it's £130 for him to be seen. It couldve cost 1300 pounds and i wouldve paid it to ensure my pup was ok. I asked to speak to someone else as I didnt deserve to be spoken to the way i was, which she said she was the only one there. I've never had an issue with pdsa for my other dog however the lack of care for my unwell pup that has just been shown on the phone is shocking. I really hope bev is just having a "bad day" as if that is her attitude towards sick animals on a daily I feel she could be in the wrong job.

I realize that I visited on a very busy day due to the bank holiday weekend. But all I've done tonight is apologize to my poor cat for putting him through such an awful experience. We spent an hour and a half waiting after our appointment time with no heads up from the receptionists as to everything running late.Consequently my boy was so distressed he couldn't have a proper examination. The place is very noisy and not a place for sick animals, the general behaviour of people attending leaves a lot to be desired. The vet was stressed, overworked and didn't seem very knowledgeable about cats.We came out knowing no more than when we went in.If you have the money,go somewhere else.
