My grandmother was in this residence for several years. We were unable to move her due to the lack of cooperation from the care home and their desperation to keep her there as she was a self funded resident. She paid thousands of pounds to be fed chips everyday with the viewings of naked residents that freely wandered between rooms without a single carer in sight, zero exercise and the only entertainment being a TV placed on full volume. In her final year she was dumped into a glorified prison cell and left to pass. In her final few weeks she was allowed to move homes in order to allow the next elderly cash cow to take her place. She passed away in October but this care home states to the council that she is still living there. I take huge comfort in remembering my grandmother has passed away as it means she is no longer confined to this 'care' home.
