The wedding film was one of the most important things to me on my planning list - it's a memory that I wanted to be able to cherish forever. But when I was looking for a wedding videographer, I found most to be traditional, formulaic and stuffy. So when I saw Dominic / Bouncing Ball Films work, I knew that he was the only videographer I wanted to capture the biggest day of our lives. Every video in his portfolio felt bespoke to each couple and brought their personality to life. I've cried so many happy tears watching our wedding films. They are so stunning and cinematic, from music, the treatment of the edit, to all of the candid moments he shot. My husband-to-be was adamant he didn't want a wedding video (what's the point, no-one wants to watch it again and the camera man will be annoying on the day!) so I knew I had a big challenge on my hands to convince him. When I stumbled across Dom at Bouncing Ball Films I just knew he was the one for us. I watched every one of his videos (on his website, Vimeo and Facebook) and loved the individuality and creativity of every single one. I just knew we would get a unique, individual product that would not only capture the day but also reflect our personalities and the essence of our relationship. The most important thing prior to the day is that he listened to us, what we wanted to do and what we wanted to achieve and then he made it happen. It was just so easy, relaxed and fun (and I'm not a person who likes being in front of the camera!), so much so he and the cameraman stayed until the end of the night and joined in the party.....everyone was so relaxed around them (see pictures below). It really felt like a best friend taking the footage (even though the cameras never went away!) but the finished product was beyond our wildest dreams. And there are so many versions (full length, shortened version, speeches, ceremony) so you can tailor want you and other people want to watch again; you really do get value for your money. I can not recommend Dom and Bouncing Ball Films highly enough....5 stars just aren't enough! I'm just working out when we can hire him again.

Like most young girls, I grew up dreaming of my wedding day and imagining all of the perfect little details. I knew from the offset that one of the most important elements of the day would be the video - it would be the lasting memory of the day, that would help us recall those little details and reminisce in years to come. We chose to get married in Tuscany, Italy, and upon viewing Dominic’s work, I immediately knew he was the perfect person to capture our special day. This conviction was cemented in place when I spoke to Dominic - not only is he a lovely, warm and friendly person, but he is a consummate professional with incredible vision and an amazing eye for detail. He made everything so easy, from those first conversations online to the wedding day itself, when he moved effortlessly through the party capturing every special moment to perfection. His editing was beyond compare, with beautiful music selections that perfectly complimented the mood and feelings of the day. The final result was simply breathtaking and beyond anything I could have imagined. It is beyond just a video - it is a work of art and we will treasure it forever.

We got married in July 2019 in Tuscany, Italy. We booked Dom to video our wedding as we had watched probably all his videos beforehand and felt his videos were miles above the rest. We received our videos shortly after the wedding and it was the best decision we made! His work is absolutely incredible, more than we could ever have imagined or hoped for. He is so calm and works in the background for the most part without us noticing he was there, it was only once we received the videos that we realised the extent of his work on the day, and this was probably only a fraction of it as we only see the final products! We still watch our videos now in awe of that day, it takes us back to the moment which Dom managed to capture so perfectly and expertly. His ability to match the footage with speeches and music can only be described as magical. Everyone who has watched it has said it is like an actual film. If you are wondering whether or not to go for a videographer, we would definitely recommend Bouncing Ball without hesitation, worth every single penny! We just wish we could book Dom again for something! We might have to renew our vows each year just for that reason! Mr & Mrs Hughes x

We got married in October 2019 and we chose Bouncing Ball Films to be our videographer as we have known Dom for many years and looked at his previous work and loved what we saw. We knew we would get a great final product and we weren't disappointed. The build up to the wedding was nice and calm and organised. Dom came round to our house to go through what he wanted to get filmed on the day. He's so easy to chat to and makes you feel relaxed and that you wil be in safe hands on the big day. On the day itself he's not demanding and stays out of your way and just gets on with filming. When he does require something from you he is chilled out and makes you laugh and relax and doesn't demand. He is always smiling and laughing with you and you just feel he loves what he does. The final product was amazing and we loved it so much and love showing everyone. The editing is brilliant and fits to the background music perfect. The amount of effort he must put into editing the hours of film he has of the day and getting the perfect finish must be pain staking. We can't thank Dom enough for the memories of our big day he has given us. We wouldn't hesitate to use Dom again or recommend Dom to anyone who wants a special event capturing. Thank you Dom.
