I took the opportunity to do a boudoir shoot with Jeff for my own selfish reasons. I like to think of myself as a strong, confident female, but I do also have my hang ups like any normal person. I wanted to take the opportunity, for my 35th year, to celebrate my body for what it is and what it has achieved. My body has experienced many things; growth, love, trauma and a miracle in bearing a child, among lots more, and it was important to me to take some time out for me, to document this as a keepsake and to feel and visualise the magic our bodies can create. Jeff took the time to communicate with me before the shoot and talk through ideas that I wanted to create and how I wanted to look. We discussed what I was comfortable wearing, or not wearing and how much I wanted to show in front of the camera and therefore in my finished photographs. We talked about how the day would go and what would happen when, which made me feel at ease. Also discussed hair and make-up, having the chance to look at some of Janey's work, which was so beautiful, and how that fit in with me and my personal style and look. On the day, I may have steadied any nerves I had with a little glass of prosecco but this wasn't even really needed. Having my hair and make-up done by Janey was a dream and I was so happy with the final result which lasted all day through the shoot and many poses! Janey is amazingly talented, personable and friendly, she put me at ease, along with Jeff right from the beginning. Upon starting to shoot with Jeff, he guided me through some poses, which we had discussed before-hand, and helped me create the angles that I wanted to achieve in my photographs. He showed me the photos along the way to make sure I was happy with the images we were getting which was helpful and so lovely to see the quality of what we were creating! His use of light, in conjunction with the hair and make-up and the different lingerie/outfits I had chosen was genius. Capturing me in my truly best light, which is what it's all about of course!! The day went so quickly and before I knew it, it was time to review the many photographs he has taken. Happy is an understatement! I was ecstatic with the photographs and the way Jeff made me look was amazing. I now recommend this 'experience', because that's what I would call it, to everyone I speak to. Everyone has the right to feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful. And Jeff did this to perfection.

Me and Jeff have shot on several different locations shoots and one boudoir shoot at his lovely home and I honestly have nothing negative to say about my experiences whatsoever. Jeff not only is a lovely and genuine guy, but also super easy to work with and a pleasure to be around! He’s talented at what he does, follows his visions through but also happy to execute any ideas the model has too with enthusiasm.
