A very sad state of affairs. The Doctors are actually very good, BUT it is getting to them that is the huge problem. This is probably the worst place ever for access. I don’t blame the DR’s for quitting. What sort of place only offers appointments at 8am, for the same day.I called wanting to book a non urgent appointment at 3 pm ish and was told ring back at 8am , we only do on the day appointments! Why? No other practice in Oxfordshire does this? I was also told if you want an appointment don’t ring in the afternoon as they have all gone! Who on earth is running this?who has decided this system? I really feel for the Dr when having to put up with the below btec managment skills

It’s a shame that this place has gone to the such low measures that it’s unfit to continue. I feel for the local residents who need to rely on the service, but if there’s no one to provide the care and attention, then it’s a simple case of lights are on but no one’s home. . Let’s hope for a better future for a new practice and loving Doctors.

Really great front of house staff - always helpful and compassionate. Very happy with appointments now being on line - I can always speak to a doctor or clinician. Had an informative medicine review and was able to see a nurse within in few days. Well done Botley!

Shocking service... this place needs to go. The non service that my nan received in her end of life care is quite unbelievable. The family will be making a complaint to the highest level. Even when the paramedic were seeing to my nan and they tried to call the surgery themselves, they was shocked with the time it took. This is how incompetent they are.. they lost my nans paperwork so we could register her death and already we are on the 5th day.

Most shocking poor service you can receive . Calling for appointment like begging , called today for urgent appointment, doctor called back in the afternoon and he wasn’t listening at all , assuming and his final advise was go to the hospital emergency in the JR if you need to be seen 🤬. Disgusting service . I don’t know why they get paid for ?!! Just to call people back and tell them take pain killer or go to hospital . My grand mother did better job treating us when we were kids . Shame

Excellent hard working , diligent and caring team. I have used BOTH the Botley Road and Kennington Surgeries to support, my now elderly parents for over 20 years. During that time l can say they have been absolutely brilliant. All the Doctors have been first Class and without their support and the help of their respective Reception Staff and Admin Teams , l very much doubt either of my parents, would still be alive today. The Doctors deserve our thanks and respect and l personally cannot thank them enough for all they have done to help , my now, very frail, elderly parents. We must all remember when we moan about what is a free service , that in many parts of the world, it costs a lot just to visit a Dr, so we ought to be grateful for what we are so lucky to have and take, so often for granted. I highly recommend both the Botley Road Medical Centre and Kennington Surgery.

My Mother is at end of life been on hold over an hour with paramedics. Paramedics managed to get a direct line doctor said he would arrange prescription went to collect after waiting two hours it's wrong bloody useless.
