5* Melinda was our fairy godmother in our hour of need. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation. Melinda supported us for several short periods over 3 months after the birth of our son - when we also had an ongoing family emergency. Melinda is everything you will want in a Doula! - great with baby, was always able to soothe him - caring and helpful attitude - emotionally supportive, great listener, very reassuring - quickly learned our routine - didn’t need to be told anything twice - proactively started doing whatever she could to help, always filled up her time with us with useful activity without being asked - reliable, organised and punctual, despite snow wind and rain - flexible to the hours we needed, including a few short notice requests - way more approachable, diligent and friendly with her advice than any midwife or health visitor we had - respected how we wanted to do things, did not have an agenda of her own to push - excellent cook. Cooked a variety of cakes and freezable meals. Often cooking brand new recipes to an excellent standard, even when we forgot some of the ingredients, she made it work very deliciously. - gave great advice, showed us how to look after baby, how to use various gadgets and tools and techniques - I would strongly recommend her if you are considering a Doula. I believe that a quick chat with her and you be fully sold on her.

Melinda supported my husband and I in the lead up to and during the birth of our second child. She was very calm, organised, warm and supportive during what was a very speedy labour for me of 3 hours. Thanks to her it did not feel chaotic and it was a great support for my husband to work together with Melinda during the labour. My toddler who met her a few times before the birth also took to Melinda instantly which was great as it was comforting for her to see Melinda on the day of the birth.

Melinda is a rare find doula. I was not lucky to find her for my birth but she helped us in post-natal period. She has a character that you won't forget easily. She's knowledgable, professional, kind, super patient and very good with babies. We learned a lot from her during her visits even though I slept most of the time that she was here, it's so easy to trust her and turn off your parental responsibilities when she's there. She was introduced to me by 2 of my friends, that had used her services and called her "God sent"!
