I think I have previously rated Boox as a 5/5 having been a customer of theirs for a good few years, for the purpose of tax returns/self assessment. Unfortunately in the tax year 2020/21, I found the service to be slow, depersonalised with very poor communication. I still persisted and got the tax return filed but found I was chasing up and what should have taken weeks, took months with very little attempt from Boox to apologise. I have now switched to a local accountants which is more expensive but worth it. I notice a lot of positive reviews here are by former/current employees of Boox. Please work on rectifying the issues and I would consider using you again. A customer shouldn't have to correct errors and chase endlessly.

I've been with Boox for 10 years. On the plus side you can always call them up and speak to them and they are nice enough. But they can be slow and do the bare minimum and have to be pushed along, sometimes leaving VAT/Tax submissions to the very last week when they have had many weeks or months to do so. I'd say they seem to be in decline the since before the pandemic. I am attempting to close my company which they said would take 3 months, it is now 8 months later and they just say they are processing it. Not awful but could much much better.

Terrible service that has been in decline for about five years, starting with missing filing deadlines for VAT and on other times requesting approval for fillings on the deadline day. They typically take 1 - 2 weeks to respond to even basic queries and their staff often provide incorrect and conflicting advice. They are a very poor company who appear to have zero focus on quality, customer service or delivering accurate accountancy services. Edit Delete Share
