Dreadful. Had some greaty service from BOOTS Brighton. Went here, they did a varifocal long shortsight glasses. Blurry as hell, re-did them, still no good. Third pair, they suggested I got for short and normal for top part. Still dont do what i want. Blurry as hell. So now i have a £140 worth of glasses that i can't use. What?

poor customer service and very poor communication They called me for a contact lens check, but refused to provide me with the trials ones to put on during my check. I showed up for my appointment, i asked to wear the lens to be check, they discovered that they only got the lens for one eye. They gave me another appointment until they receive the missing lens. Ironically, when i showed up for my second appointment, guess what, the contact lens for the second eye was missing. They said as a compensation, we wrote on the system that your next order for contact lens will be for free, and they will call me when they have my lens. They called me again to book an appointment, i asked them do you have lens, they checked and said no, not yet. so why are calling !!! I went for the fourth time for the check, not to say how many times they try to convince me with that stupid reward system they have, after i did me test i told them that i have been told that my next contact lens would be for free, they said we have nothing on the system and you need to pay for your check and for your lens, how ridicules is that, of course i paid for the checks but no for the lens. The quality of this place is going down and down

Not impressed with the optician services, I had an eye test booked for 2 weeks, the week leading up to the appointment they had texted me to remind me, 1 on the Saturday 7 days before then 1 on the Thursday 2 days before, then on the Friday after there last reminder they called me to cancel and they offered me another appointment in 2 months, I won't be using boots in the future, a complete waste of my time

If I could give them a zero I would. Absolutely appalling service. Firstly I have to wait 2 months for an appointment, then when I finally get seen, they have the wrong contact lenses. Then when I return after a month for the next appointment they hadn't even changed it, can you believe they were going to fit the same ones again. If I hadn't asked to check. I then had to wait again for another month. I now have received a phone call today, the day before my appointment to say that have to re schedule due to shortage of staff. I will not be returning

Popped in as had broken 3 pairs of Boots glasses over the last few months(my carelessness not a problem with the glasses). Advised one was beyond repair as the frame had actually snapped ( which had guessed would be the case). Left the other 2 pairs and my name and number .They called me back 30 mins later to say they were fixed. I picked them up..good as new ...great job & no fuss. Well done Boots.

This opticians was dreadful before, but now it is even worse. I’ve been trying to get lenses for my daughter for two months, this company has the most antiquated system and protocols that make it impossible to deal with them I have given up and using different optician I’ve wasted to much of my life with this useless miss managed business absolutely hopeless don’t waste your time. They have the cheek to put you on a three month waiting list and then try and up sell to you discusting when I have a young daughter who is struggling to see the white board at school and even traffic. I could of made my own lenses in the time I have wasted at this place the staff are absolutely and most unhelpful, managed by people with a lower IQ than a loaf of bread and less helpful than a broken toaster
