Tried to book an appointment but none to be had went into the new surgery 5 out of 6 doctors rooms were free I asked the unhelpful and very miserable receptionist why was only one doctor she said "they are all in but 5 on lunch" This was 11.45 am why would 5 doctors all take lunch together making a queue ? The reception was so unprofessional 1/6/23

Absolutely shocking, as a diabetic have no support been there over 3 years and not one to one appointment, just keep giving me medication without no testing, takes ages to get through, finally gets a appointment to see nurse takes a day off work and they cancel, avoid...avoid, currently in process of trying to find a new surgery.

It is disappointing to read some of the bad reviews of this practice. I have been a patient for many years and the service I have received has varied between good and excellent! The "ask my GP" app has improved things in recent years, and when needed I have been able to obtain appointments within 48 hours, and telephone consultation within 24 hours.

I’ve been with Boothstown Medical Centre for over 20 years. They’ve always been fantastic with me and my family. Friendly and quick to respond. Yes times have changed from the waiting in a queue on the phone to using the online system (ask my GP) but it’s simple, quick and effective; I e never waited more than a day for a response/appointment/prescription.

Have tried on a number of occasions to get a home visit for my mother but these requests are always refused. She is 87 and housebound. Shockingly poor care but we have no choice but to use this practice.
