Brilliant staff, amazing food and relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. My partner and I ate here in early June, the staff were incredibly accommodating and we were made to feel like one of the locals immediately, the menu was explained to us and the favourites were made clear to us. The haddock scotch eggs were something to note, and the rest of the food was delicious too.

Spectacular country pub with garden on River Test and its own outdoor kitchen that serves limited selection from much larger main menu. Excellent, truly, pour of Romsey brewed ales like Double Drop. Very friendly staff. Dog friendly. Popular with families. There is also nice seating out front next to the quiet road. Be tempted to enter their longest runner bean competition! Reasonable prices for the quality on offer.

Lovely Country pub, but very limited menu for a Saturday evening. The starter of Camembert that we ordered had already sold out at 7 pm, and there were very little vegetarian choices.
