Used them twice. Excellent price. Reasonably quick delivery (3 weeks UK to Germany), excellent packaging. The only thing I disliked is the website: the status of my order never updated, it is still displayed as "Pending." Yet when I inquired by e-mail, I rapidly received a polite and full answer, including the tracking number and the mailing date. Verdict: absolutely recommended, but they should really do something about their website.

I've bought regularly from Books etc. for several years. The prices are generally excellent. Customer support has always been highly responsive. The books which have arrived have been pristine, with one exception (which had some torn pages), but in that case I received a pristine replacement after returning (for free) the damaged copy. Highly reliable and highly recommended. 👍🏻

First time I had ordered from Books etc. I wanted a copy of Python Crash Course 3rd edition and they were the cheapest. Despite the generally poor reviews I was very impressed. Speedy delivery and the book was packed really well (For better than Amazon). Book was spotless without any creases or damage from postage. Very much recommended.

Horrible packaging. Had several books come damaged and they offer either a full refund but the book is sold out so thats not what you want or they offer a 5% discount which is ridiculous for a damaged book. You buy something New and if you get it damaged you should get a replacement or if out of stock a real discount and not 3 pounds on an over 60 pounds damaged book. Update: Based on the reaction from booksetc down below, I send them an email. They never bothered to reply to it.

Very disappointed with this website. Ordered a book last week, they took my money straight away, no confirmation email, nothing. Today I receive a notification from my bank saying the payment was reversed. Again, no email, nothing. Won't be buying from them again.
