Great fun. Dog loved it. Dogs dad loved it (thats me!). Booked for the full course since the tasters session but thats not until June 2023 which is a bit of a pity.

Really disappointed with the 6 week course I did. They had a very reactive german shepherd in the class that should have never been in there, I don't know what they were thinking. It scared both me and my dog. Getting into class was pure bedlam, they could have organised that much better by having a bigger break between classes (a load of dogs were leaving the building as all of us were arriving with ours) and maybe even giving some instructions at the door with who goes in first, who goes next, where to stand, etc. What's most disappointing though is that before this class my dog barely ever barked at anyone. She now barks constantly at people walking past the house and at people in the street. It's a very difficult habit to train her out of it seems. Positive reward training doesn't work well with this unless you give her another command, but she is so clever that she now barks so she is given something else to do and then gets praise or a reward. In the class we were made to sit and wait for quite long periods of time while the instructor talked to us all as a group. I think this is one reason why all the dogs started to bark, and why my dog learnt to bark too and it became an ingrained habit. In class it was embarrassing if she was barking, and other people couldn't head the instructor, so I shushed her and did all I could to stop her. This has now resulted in her barking for attention. I really think the long monologues were not necessary. Everything the instructor told us I have already learnt online and anyway my dog could do all these basic commands quite easily (what dog at 6 to 12 months can't sit?!). So really I think less time should be spent on explaining things and more spent on practicing them, with the instructor walking round and explaining a few key points. Also information is sent out by email, so these finer details can be read by the dog parents in their own time, rather than sitting there for 10+ minutes listening to someone talk while all the dogs bark and then in the end your dog is frustrated. I hope you take on some of this feedback as I feel that my money was wasted here and I actually regret doing the class.

I rang boney fido a lady answered and said she had just got home. She asked for my email address and my phone no. She gave me some information about cost and said I will call, you tomorrow this was a couple of day's ago. I have not heard anything from them. In my opinion they are a waste of time. I have got someone else they are cheaper and arranged to come and see me and my dog. There was no i will call tomorrow then proceed to ignore you.
