Me and a few other I know have gone to Jodie and the experience is constantly awful. First of all I had a 2 helix piercing done already had 2 that were both 8mm apart from each other when I went to Jodi not only did she do them wonkey she did them 9 and 11mm apart from the previous ones along with that she asked if she could use numbing spray after she started using it. My second experience was when I needed a 1.5mm septum ring when a ball fell of my old one (it was done elsewhere because from the first experience I was hesitant to go back) her solution to not having a nose ring that fit me was to bend it into the shape of a staple(which I obviously couldn’t tuck up)and scraping something in my nose and I know that isn’t standard practice because I have had my septum ring sorted out at places that have done it much better. Unfortunately my third story is second hand but it shows the experience someone may have. So he went in to get his lives done not only were butterfly studs used but proper care instructions weren’t given leading to his ear inevitably eating the butterfly stud getting horribly infected and when we went to have the lives sorted out we realised that they were done in different places. All of that combined with the incredibly unfriendly staff and the fact we were marked with a regular bloody pen and ears were not sterilised or wiped down leads to genuinely the worst experience I have gotten a piercer in Colchester. If you want piercing I urge you to go to cosmic tattoo, tattoo inc or Colchester body arts and as other reviews have said the piercings here are so cheap for a reason.
