This refers to the Angling section. Staff very helpful and not pushy. Good stock levels and quite a large section devoted to fishing. Loyalty Card offer and prices appeared to be competitive to online ones. I hesitate to write about the live bait available as this can vary due to a number of issues including suppliers and the staffs knowledge of keeping bait such as maggots and rotation of frozen stocks etc. However so far my experience with their maggots had been excellent, well kept, clean and fresh. l actually kept a left over pint fridged for a week with only a few turning to usable casters. As an experiment I kept them a further week in the fridge and although approx 30 to 40% had turned it was usable bait. At home Fridge maggots, don't overcrowd them , spreadout, riddle and add fresh maize meal every few days and you should be able to eliminated waste completely! UPDATE April 2023 Angling section is still growing! There is an extra aisle, more carp stuff then you can shake a stick at! Loads of bait options fresh, frozen, pellets, boilies and shelf life stuff. A shop that is still developing! SHOP LOCAL.... USE IT OR LOOSE IT!

I visit bodle angling regularly and the service from all the guys at bodle bros is amazing. All staff are friendly and always happy to help. Harry is always willing to share advice and knowledge especially to those young keen anglers just starting out. The best tackle shop around.
