Hein obliged me with a test sail on the Astus 20.5 in Southampton water on a very blustery autumn day last year.The boat ,under a reef, managed 18.5 knots. As I was used to a Cornish Shrimper, this proved 'quite' exciting, so I subsequently ordered one and sold the shrimper! I took delivery of 'Hot Knots' in early July 2022 and have managed ,after a few weeks to get to grips with it, I think! I should mention I am in my sixties, reasonably fit and sail mostly single handed here in Cornwall. Life in the 'fast lane' is great and Hein has been so helpful, obliging and trustworthy throughout the whole process. I only wish I had taken this step to 'excitement' a lot sooner, as they say you are only here once! Many thanks Hein & Hilary. Happy sailing days! Ben Faithfull.

I bought a 1990 Cornish Shrimper 19 from Hein in June this year and I've not looked back. I was lucky enough to contact him just as he was starting the refurbishment, so I got to see the refurb photos and and agree some additions which he sourced competitively. Nothing was too much trouble and he worked with you, more like an old friend than a dealer but still very professional and offering expert valuable advise all the way through, such a pleasure. His work and finish refurbing the boat, trailer and engine was excellent and I,ve had two RYA skippers ask if the boat was new! Here's a photo showing Mil Sonrisas when I collected her from his workshop and finally in Playa Blanca Lanzarote which I towed over in July this year. a beautiful job Hein, thank you so much!

Boats on Wheels have recently sold my two boats. It went extremely well for me. They collected the boats and stored them. The boats were Laser eps which are quite rare. They recommended a good sales strategy, balancing the cost against the increased value. The boats were well prepared and looked very good. They even revarnished the carbon masts. The marketing was extremely effective with a well designed advert on a good website with a good set of photographs. They handled the sale well getting a good price and paid me promptly. Altogether a good experience.
