So far a brilliant service all round. From booking the appointment with Hayley over the phone to meet and greet when arrived. Plus fit us in at short notice. Lokesh was very thorough when checking my eyes. Gemma explaining and understanding to what glasses I need for work and day to day goings. Mutsa, Gemma, Hayley and Lokesh warm all polite and welcoming. Will be back there when due another check up.

A good opticians generally but when I popped in to pick up my first pair of glasses, the reception had a go at me for not booking an appointment, which I didn't realize you had to do. I didn't appreciate being spoken to like that anyway apart from that good.

I've used Boatman's my whole life and have never been disappointed. Based in a beautiful little property on Moulsham St, the staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly, and the service absolutely top notch. Most recently I managed to break my glasses three days before leaving for a hiking holiday in Spain (I am a clumsy man). They immediately saw me, put in an urgent order for a new pair, and texted me for collection in just over 24 hours!! I couldn't believe it. Fantastic service, lovely people 😃
