I had a fantastic day in Summerbridge with Oscar. He was very knowledgeable and explained where the fish were most likely to be. He was also great company to spend a day on the river with. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a day's guided fishing and hope to book another day with him soon. May 2023 - I have just had another day's fishing with Oscar on the Nidd and it was equally as enjoyable as the one I had with him last year. The number of fish that I caught is a reflection of his river craft and I learnt a massive amount that I'm looking forward to use next time I fish on my own. Great coffee from Wildish too.

Without doubt, the best thought out and useful fishing bag that I've ever owned...I now only carry the bare minimum of essential stuff for a more enjoyable day on/in my favourite wild trout streams/ rivers without being cluttered and weary... caringly hand made by British crafts folk, and an exceptional level of customer service in all respects ...a great example of good things being done by good people to help us enjoy the many benefits of the great outdoors...thank you

Chill, chill,chill just about describes our day fly fishing with Oscar . What’s not to like about a day on the river with this enthusiast guy in a beautiful part of the world in North Yorkshire . This was a surprise birthday present for me to spend a day with a friend and Oscar and we both absolutely loved it . Neither of us had done any fishing before but that didn’t matter . A friendly, funny and chilled guy who made the day a special treat . Not only can he find the fish but he’s a knack of seeking out some scrumptious pies for lunch . Yes we caught fish but had we not done so we would have still been content with our lot .in fact we were both so chilled that neither of us blinked when our wives returned to collect us laden with bags from a days shopping in Harrogate ! We will return and thanks once again 👍

Had a great day with Oscar fishing on the river Nidd at Summerbridge and Pately Bridge. As well as being a fantastic teacher, he was engaging company and I enjoyed hearing about his various entrepreneurial ventures going back to his childhood and his experiences in the world of fly fishing. He was very patient and completely put us at ease. He is clearly very passionate about everything he does yet manages to combine that with a seemingly laid back approach to life. We even caught a few fish which was a bonus.
