  Matt is a brilliant mechanic that eats, breathes and sleeps all things BMW! My dashboard was lit up like a Christmas tree due to the ABS wheel speed sensor experiencing a fault. As I needed the car for work I made the expensive mistake of trusting my local mechanic to find the issue... After replacing the wheel speed sensor and bearing, I received the car back with a hefty bill and the issue still present. At this point I reached out to Matt, who a few weeks earlier had serviced my 5 series, and I explained the issue to him. He said due to workload he'd see what he could do in the coming days and would stay late in the evenings to make sure he kept up his schedule with the other cars. To my surprise, I got a call from Matt's office less than 48 hours later that the car was ready for collection. It turned out there was damage to a wire in the main control unit (I think that's what it was called) that caused the ABS sensor to not receive power/signal. Totally impressed by Matt's ability to troubleshoot an issue like this which wasn't very obvious. Hopefully I won't need to use Matt again, except for the regular servicing, but I'd return to him in an instant if I ever do experience any other issues with my 5 series. Service: Electrical

  So Monday the car went in for some major maintenance work.. it took me months trying to figure who’s best to go with… Then i came across BM Connected Ltd after speaking to them and reading there reviews I felt these were the guys I wanted to carry out the works. The car went in for the following: •Timing chain replacement •Rocker cover & gasket replacement •Walnut blasting •Swirl flaps delete Today i collected the car and I’m absolutely blown away with the service that BM Connected Ltd provided, from start to finish! Matt took over 50 photos/ videos of all the works carried out, kept me posted all the way through the works & recommended works to consider to be done for future visits. All the staff were friendly and professional, you could tell this isn’t just a job for Matt.. and that he has such passion in his work. I look forward to dealing with you in the future.. thanks again Matt and your team at BM Connected Ltd

  BMW 320d F31 x-drive We had this BMW touring in for a whole host of maintenance work. Kevin and his wife drove the 6.5 hours from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 to us in Essex to be with us before 9am! We carried out: ZF8 Gearbox service Intake manifold clean Walnut blast of intake channels Mixing tube cleaned Major service Vehicle check service Brake fluid service Front differential service Rear differential service Transfer box service AOS Service history Swirl flaps and software delete XHP stage 2 Software upgrade All completed in a day ready for the long journey home 🏡 Using a bmw specific walnut intake blasting tool, we can clean out years of coking/oil sludge from the cylinder head of the engine without leaving a single mark on the soft metal the engine is made of, this makes the car more efficient, noticeably quieter, smoother and can restore power if there is a large build up. The pesky troublesome swirl flaps! we’re deleted, these are a common issue we deal with day to day, we can remove these and adjust the software to suit, even if the vehicle has tuning on the ecu,we can work around it.
