This lady who runs the place is a nasty peice of work...fishery very nice but ruined by being so rude...hung our nets out to air but started to rain and was told we couldnt start match untill nets had dried,our club will never fish here again.She is very clearly a manhater and i count my blessings i will never set eyes on this horrible creature again....i also told her i was going to put a bad review on about her attitude towards customers in which she informed me she would sue me if i did such a thing...why on earth is this creature always looking for trouble is beyond me..

They say there is nothing like a warm welcome, well, there is nothing like one here! Just turned up at here , as fancied somewhere new only to be greeted by the most miserable old battleaxe of a woman, Informing me that they are shutting significantly earlyer than stated. It was like she wanted an argument. The most rude unpleasant old woman I've encountered for a long time, I can only hope the hospital appointment she claims she has is for something terminal, a lovely venue totally spoiled by her

Have never blanked at this lake, usually fish on home pool but took my daughter here and fished Bridge pool, was having runs all day also my daughter had a handful of small silvers.. Fish in very good condition.. I'll be back for sure

Perfect for the NEC and the warden couldn’t have been more helpful with a route map to beat the traffic. Canal trust could repair the potholes but apart from that ideal stop. All the routes we used stopped about half a mile before the site which is clearly marked off the road.
