I retired from the NHS in 2017 after 22 years service .I missed the patient contact and working as?a team so I went about liking for part time work in the same sector I visited several agencies and was offered the position of a senior carer ( because I probably the oldest person on their books ?) 🙂 my philosophy is if you are able and safe to do a job that helps other people why hold back. I saw Bluebird pop.up , phoned got an interview wow... did not expect that sort of treatment they are absolutely amazing so friendly , unbelievable coukd nit wait to wirk fir them zi have had the most amazing year with them .fabulous clients nothing is too much trouble for them the Management and the rest of the office team are well what can I say so very supportive .all the other carers look after each other lovely team.of people I love my job and am grateful to Bluebird for giving me the opportunity to work in the field of care which I obviously love. I have recently joined bluebird care in June 2022. I had my interview with Hira one of the care coordinator, Hira made me feel so relaxed in my interview so nice to speak to and easy approach. she explained everything to me in detail what was required from me to go more further in my steps to become a care assistant. once I got the job I had a day training with Hira and Amanda and Sian. They was so lovely and kind and explained everything in detail so I knew what information I needed and what skills I had to use in what situation. Fiona was lovely when she was doing my pass and getting all my uniform together and all the PPE I needed. When it come to shadowing call with other cares they was all lovely they took me udder their wings showed me the ropes and if I had any questions they are there with the answers straight away ( and still are to this day). everyone is so helpful and approachable, from the office staff to the lead careers and the assistants. They are all supportive towards me if I need anything they are always there for me. As I work on the weekends I look forward to my shift work knowing that I am going help people out and see my other careers. I plan to stay with bluebird and continue my skill set and development with them. I would recommend bluebird to anyone who is looking to work in the care sector who has a big hart and wants to help people lives out and make a difference.

At the beginning I struggled financially and the Management was very understanding and helped me. I am not a driver and they always try to give me visits where I can go by public transport. Whenever I call the Office with a question I get help. I hope I deserve their kind support.
