We went here for a birthday celebration, a really good menu and a good selection of non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. It has a car park and outside seating area and marquee. Quite intimate inside and whilst it’s not cheap it was not expensive for the food on offer. The mains fish pie was fantastic and the service was attentive without being obtrusive. A really enjoyable experience and well worth visiting.

Superb restaurant in Hatfield Peveral, more than a Gastro pub, service was impeccable at a level one would expect in the capital and a very good food & wine menu. Yes it is not cheap but there are plenty of Gastro pubs in Hatfield Peveral but the Blue Strawberry is on a level on it's own! The restaurant was very busy when we arrived on a Tuesday and that days a lot, seems people travel far & wide to visit this establishment and I can understand why. Nothing was too much trouble, service attentive but not intrusive, we will be returning regularly! Vegetarian options: Selection available

Visited 29th April for friends birthday and what should have been a great evening was ruined by very poor service. The food was good but did not arrive at same time left with dirty plates after first course for more than 30 minutes. Main courses took an age to arrive and as said did not arrive all at the same time. After main course we had to ask for dessert menu, comment was oh you want dessert menus with shock on face!!! Again when they arrived one was forgotten. I would stay away until they sort staffing quality. Shame the owner did not read, I never mentioned staff shortage but quite rightly mentioned the poor quality of the staff who served us. Also no apology but clearly that’s the attitude of the owner, no customer care skills. I am no keyboard warrior just a dissatisfied customer
