Lovery guest house that had great breakfast, amazing friendly staff and homely feeling to it. We stayed there couple times in the past, but sadly, on the day of checking out we learned that it was closing down and that it will be converted to HMO. It was said to hear that yet another business didn't survived pandemic and that rising cost makes busy not viable.

Been many years since my last stay. Price acceptable by todays standards. No welcome now, you use a touch screen for your key, which is regretful but not uncommon now. Room excellent. Parking good. If you need to get to town you have a fair walk.

Super comfy beds, nice size room, automatic check in system works well, gorgeous garden but the full English breakfast was not whats shown in picture on the website, we didn't get any hash browns, mushrooms or tomatoes , we got got sausages, bacon , baked beans and scrambled eggs, (we chose scrambled instead of fried.), also menu in the bedroom doesn't mention scrambled eggs on toast or omelette etc. Not a fan of texting breakfast choice the night before as you may not fancy what you chose the next morning , that said we'd stay again
