At Blue Planet Montessori Nursery School, we maintain a low teacher-to-student ratio to ensure individualized attention and guidance. Our ratio varies based on the age of the children, but typically ranges from 1:3 to 1:8.

How do you incorporate technology into your Montessori curriculum?

While we believe in the hands-on, sensory-based Montessori approach, we do introduce technology in a limited and developmentally appropriate way. For example, we may use tablets or computers for educational games or to support research projects for the older students.

Do you offer any after-school programs or extracurricular activities for students?

Yes, we offer a variety of after-school programs and extracurricular activities for our students, including music lessons, yoga classes, and language classes. We also have homework clubs and tutoring services available.

How do you assess student progress and provide feedback to parents?

We regularly observe and assess our students' progress using a variety of methods, including checklists, portfolios, and conferences with parents. We also provide detailed progress reports twice a year and encourage ongoing communication with parents.

What is your approach to discipline and classroom management in the Montessori environment?

Our approach to discipline and classroom management is based on mutual respect, clear expectations, and a prepared environment that supports independence and responsibility. We work with our students to develop self-discipline and problem-solving skills, and we address any behavioral issues calmly and constructively.
