We ordered at 4.30 pm. We received a text message from just eat 5.18pm saying it was out for delivery. After still not receiving our order at 5.45 pm we called blue ocean. To be told it has been delivered. The man on the phone said he will ring the driver and call us back to find out what was going on. 5mins later the driver phoned insisting he had delivered it and proceeded to shout down the phone saying “are you calling me a liar!?” And said he delivered it and a little girl answered the door and he rang a black door bell. We have neither a black door bell or a little girl living at our address! He carried on yelling at me and told me to take it up with just eat to ask for a refund. Not long after the original man called back and said he will send out a fresh order however they needed to substitute an item as they had run out. By this point we had waited 2hours for our delivery. I asked for a refund and he said that it’s not possible they can only send out a fresh order. I said I really do not want that same delivery driver to turn up at my address as he was so abusive down the phone and felt unsafe to have him turn up at my front door. The man assured me it wouldn’t be the same driver. 20 mins later our order arrived and it was indeed the same man as he was laughing and said he doesn’t recognise our door and must have delivered to the wrong address. I asked if he was the ‘gentleman’ I spoke to on the phone and our previous delivery driver. He responded yes he was and that he is the owner and he would never be rude as customers are important to him. I said he was literally shouting down the phone and then told me to take it up with just eat and hung up on me. He’s just laughed and started to walk off. After all this we just put the food in the bin as we couldn’t trust what they would have done with the food if this is how they treat their customers. Absolutely disgusted with blue ocean and would certainly not be ordering with them again. And would recommend no one else do either!

Stopped off for to buy my Friday night fish and chips as I knew my local would be closed before I got home and the fish was outstanding 10 out of 10 would definitely come again if I'm ever in Maidstone many thanx xxx

OK, im 37 years old and im ex army so ive travelled a lot around the world and of course the UK. Fish and chips and sausage and chips are a staple! But in those 37 years, this is easily the worst i have ever had by a country mile. I got sausage and chips with a gross bendy sausage which had clearly been cooked hours before, my mate got fish and chips but couldnt eat the soggy fish and my other mate got pie and chips but pie was very cold in the middle. again, this must have been sat around for hours. First and last time. Guys, you need to do better!
