Delighted with the work done by Blue Crystal Glass and great customer service dealing with Jeff. I accidentally damaged an important vase...Moser glass! I googled and up came B.C.G who I rang. I sent photos, posted the vase off and it was excellently repaired...you can t tell at all that it had ever been damaged . Well done to this company! I ve given out Jeff s cards to the owner of an auction house plus the owner if an antique centre in the hope that they may need Jeff s services.I ve recommended them and will continue to spread the word!

Initially seemed very helpful and I’m happy with repair but very unprofessional company and would not use again or recommend - issues with invoicing and staff rude. In response to below: I was asked to pay £120 before my late mother’s vase was repaired and was then invoiced £96 after the repair was completed. Whether the second invoice, that contained all my details, was a mistake or in fact the true invoice no one will really know, but when I queried the 2nd invoice I was faced with narrative as displayed below. I worked in customer service for many years and would have been horrified if one of my team had responded to a customer in this manner.

Worst customer service I've ever had. A promised 7 day turnaround turned out to be, after countless emails from me, 280 days finally cumulating in contacting trading standards and the police. After telling the owner (Jeff) that I was passing the case over to the authorities I received several emails claiming I was being unreasonable. Some emails in the early hours. I had excuse after excuse, my request to just send me the item back in its still broken condition with a refund request were all refused. "We don't give refunds". This is illegal. No information was ever forthcoming unless specifically requested. Excuses included "it's trickier than I thought", "there are bits missing" (although broken it was actually complete when posted and very carefully wrapped). The jug was sent in June 2020 and arrived back today, April 2nd, 2021. I can't understand the good feedback. Ironically, the work on the item looks good enough but I cannot recommend enough that you AVOID.

I took 4 X 18th century drinking glasses in for minor defects....chips...flakes to both rims and feet. Colour twists...facetted....Jacobite. Results are astonishing....Of course restored but now great additions to any collection. No hesitation to take more items when required.
