I normally buy my Oakley glasses online until they Discontinued them recently , popped in to see if they may be able to help me find some to my luck they had a pair at another store which they had sent over for me to try a day or so later but was the wrong size for me , sat with 1 of the staff for well over an hour going through what frames they had and all the different options and prices again the frames where sent over from another store a day later ,the member of staff even added a few extra styles that she thought I might like after I had left .I ended up buying 2 pairs in the end the 1 on 1 service was Brilliant yes I paid a little bit more than I wanted too compared to online But I know any problems I can take them back to the store and get any problems sorted should that day come , since getting my new glasses I haven't taken them off my head that's how happy I am with them !!!! Highly Recommend the Ilkeston Store !!

Brilliant experience here. Recently went for an update on an eye test as needed and i can’t thank the staff enough. Super thorough detail whilst being quick in the eye exam, and the woman who was helping me decide which glasses was absolutely incredible. She took her time as i was making my way through trying on dare i say MULTIPLE pairs and she was very patient with me. Great laughs exchanged and super one on one experience within Ilkeston DI BLOW. couldn’t recommend highly enough!

A great experience here! Will not be returning to Specsavers. I had an eye test for same price as one at a big chain but the customer service was exceptional. Reception was friendly and kind, and gave me a reminder call the day before my eye test. The eye test took 20 minutes, but during that time, rather than just leaving the session with a prescription, I learnt about the shape of my eye, how the lense changes shape, and how that results in a prescription change throughout life. Absolutely fantastic!
