Petra was the celebrant for our daughters naming day and we can’t imagine anyone doing a better job. She came to our house to learn about all about our family and our daughters personality, likes and hobbies, before weaving it in to a brilliantly cohesive ceremony based around her favourite film. We had singing, dancing, poems and stories. It was brilliant and everyone loved it, especially the children. Petra is a fun, kind and thoughtful individual and we couldn’t recommend her more. Petra was a fantastic celebrant. We found Petra's profile online quite late in our celebration process. We contacted her and she responded promptly and arranged a video call. From our first conversation we could see she was organised, diligent and, most importantly, personable. Prior to our event she met us a number of times, learnt about us as a couple and put together a wonderful and well planned ceremony. She even took the time to visit our venue and get to the know the venue and staff. We met in person a few days before the event (we live overseas, so it was difficult to meet before that). Petra ensured we ran through the ceremony and double checked everything, it was meticulous, and so very helpful for us. On the day itself, we felt at ease and due to the prior planning, Petra's warm nature and her willingness to get involved (we did some sing-a-longs and had some surprises...) it was an amazing ceremony and one we will never forget. Many of our guests commented on the wonderful story Petra had put together about us for the ceremony and asked how long we had known her for. We really appreciated all the hard work she put in for us in a short period of time and would whole heartedly recommend Petra to any of our friends or family. Simon and Laura.

Petra performed our Father’s Interment of Ashes at Hale Cemetery, and we were delighted with the service she provided. Our family all now live in the South of England, but it was our Dad’s wish to be interred in his family grave. Petra was very helpful with the organisation, even liaising with Trafford Council on several occasions on our behalf. We spoke on Zoom to talk about our Dad, his life, and what we wanted for the ceremony, and Petra was kind, warm and empathetic, really helping us share our thoughts and memories which helped her to create a beautiful eulogy for our Dad, and a lovely simple service, just how he would have liked it. I would thoroughly recommend Petra Rigby as the celebrant for your occasion, whatever it may be.

Petra was a wonderful celebrant for our dads funeral and we couldn’t recommend her enough. Petra sat down with us and over a few cups of tea we recounted our dad to her, this allowed for a detailed and personal eulogy which was beautifully written and delivered with respect and an understanding of a person that Petra had not met, but did his character justice. As we went through the process Petra was pillar of support, she liaised with the funeral directors, the crematorium and gave us all the information we needed to make this send off as special as we could. As a grieving daughter I take so much comfort in the ceremony created for dad to celebrate his life which we could not have achieved without Petra. She allowed myself and my sisters to feel we had done him proud and given him a lovely send off. Thank you very much Petra xx

There are not enough superlatives to decscribe just how amazing Petra is at what she does. From our initial meeting to discuss our vow renewals to the end when she conducted our ceremony amongst family and friends, Petra’s professionalism and enthusiasm shone. My husband and I were clueless on our approach and gave her very little to work with, despite this Petra ensured every single element of our day was covered and created a master plan with all our wishes, likes and dislikes catered for to perfection along with some beautiful meaningful touches, all thought of by her. Without Petra we truly could not have created such a memorable day. She is simply wonderful and we could not recommend her highly enough.
