A biju tearoom set at side of canal lock with indoor and outdoor seating. Good service and food of good quality, though selection limited. Worth a try.

Called in yesterday during a bike ride along the canal. Sat outside amongst other customers. My order was taken within minutes and the food and drink arrived within minutes. The coffee, which was great, arriving at the same time as the food rather then 10 minutes before. Excellent service. Highly recommended.

A lovely quaint tea room & cafe on the edge of the canal, the kids enjoyed sitting outside watching the canal boats rise up as if by magic in the lock. The serving guy / owner went pretty pale at the prospect of serving us all 14 adults + kids, but did pretty damn well without too many mixups, tantrums or heart attacks, and the food & drink was tasty - so all in all a solid well earned 5*
