Celia is a talented and passionate lady. Celia really takes you on a journey of yourself tailoring every session to meet your individual needs. She offers insight, she challenges you to look into yourself, gives you tools to work with and offers relaxation in the form of hypnotherapy. Celia gives you an all round experience that enables you to work on yourself in your area of need and makes steps towards progress. After a block of 8 sessions I can certainly say I have progressed and have the tools to use to continue my journey myself. Celia comes highly recommended.

This is around the 3rd time I’ve attempted to write this review as I cannot really articulate how life changing this process with Celia has been for me. Having followed a never ending cycle of diet/lose significant weight/stop diet/regain all lost weight plus extra - for my whole adult life, I realised I needed to do something to address the root cause rather than the behaviour. The course with Celia was nothing like I expected weight loss hypnotherapy to be but it was absolutely what I needed it to be. I thought it would be a soothing voice telling me to stop eating enough times that I would hopefully just stop over-eating! Instead, it was a process that Celia guides you through expertly, honestly, realistically and without judgement. A process that I believe has fully set me off on a journey to be altogether healthier - physically and mentally. Not just slimmer. Although, that being said, I am slimmer! I’ve lost a stone so far with no noticeable effort. This is purely down to the hypnotherapy and working on recognising the emotional triggers, changing habits and so on. And without depriving myself of my favourite foods either. But it’s actually so much bigger than this! In one particularly enlightening session, I instantly understood so much about myself and how I’d come to be this overweight/this unhappy. Consequently, I don’t hate myself/appearance anymore. I cannot express how liberating that is aged 40! 25 odd years of being so vile to myself- just gone (…nearly gone anyway)! I’m looking after myself in so many other ways and it’s having such a positive impact on all elements of my life - my relationships, my parenting, my work life balance, my general mental well-being etc. But more than anything, I feel so ready to be a physically healthier person. Stress is a huge trigger for overeating and unfortunately, 2023 kickstarted with a series of highly testing events. And I’ve just lost a steady lb/half a lb a week. No gain! This is such a win for me. And I know I’ll continue, with Celia’s recordings and resources, with everything she’s helped me work through - I’m very much on my way to being the healthy me I want to be.

When I first contacted Celia I had been living with severe social and general anxiety for years along with issues regarding bereavement, depression, my relationship with food, insomnia and the diagnosis of ADHD at thirty years old. I didn't know how I needed to be helped or if it was possible. I didn't want to go down the route of medication as I wanted to tackle the root causes of my issues. I booked a block of sessions and spread these out over around six months. In that time Celia helped me to break down my thought processes and recognise triggers, signs of avoidance and the science behind our thought processes and how trauma can have an impact on that. It was great having access to the hypnotherapy sessions via recordings as I was able to utilise these and reinforce what we had covered in each session. In each session we celebrated the little wins which signified huge progress, such as sleeping through the night or following a todo list and being able to stay on task, or engaging with a stranger when walking the dog or even just getting out of my home for a short period of time! I know for me I am a long way from being able to function at 100% but because of Celia and her patience, I am now able to live without the crippling symptoms that come with severe anxiety. I don't feel nauseous, faint or get pins and needles every day, I have learnt ways to stop my mind from spiralling, I am kinder to myself, I am more confident and I am hopeful that each day will be better than the last. Celia is one of the most approachable, kind and intelligent women I have ever met. I 100% recommend her services.

I have been seeing Celia for several months and through the work we’ve done together I’ve seen such a significant improvement in my mental health, particularly depression and self esteem issues. The sessions are always very focused on your experience and what you want to get out of it, and this personalised, feedback-based approach has been really helpful in making sure I get the most out of sessions. I now feel a lot more capable of managing my mental health as a result of the work we’ve done together, and the helpful skills, tools, information, and resources I’ve been equipped with (including audio recordings of our hypnotherapy sessions to listen to again).
