Shockingly bad care is being given by this company. They are constantly understaffed but are still always taking on new clients. My grandmother is often waiting until midday before her morning carer arrives to get her up and dressed for the day. When they do eventually arrive, most are unable to perform the required tasks as they have yet to be trained, but they can not receive the training needed as the company is permanently short staffed. Having looked at the reviews for the company, the 5 star ratings appear to mostly be from members of staff and not from clients receiving care! Why social care is still using this company is beyond me.

They don't shadow new staff appropriately and because they are now using staff from India that are nice but do need to be shadowed a bit more but due to them having low staff issues they sign them off as competent which is not the case.. it's also unfair to the care givers well as the client. Bloomsbury care need to appoint one carer to be competent to shadow new careers until competent.

I went for my training there and they still haven’t went forward with my application. They are in desperate need for workers but won’t be quick to accept someone. They have also been seen to be rude to clients by another member of that used to work there who now currently doesn’t due to the rudeness.

I was a client with this care provider. I changed company due to how bad the provision was. I had money and items taken from my home, calls missed, carers spread all sorts of stories. Including lies told to paramedics videoed on my ring doorbell. Calls cut short. Basic duties not done, resulting in falls and injuries. Someone tried to tell me this was the best care provider in the area. I found that impossible to believe. So glad I changed provider, I honestly recommend if you are looking for care don't look here.

Avoid this company. The most uncaring and unhelpful people I have ever met. Paid me £39 for 43 hours work and will not assist me in giving me a number for their payroll to sort it out. They say they haven't got one.

We have been having Bloomsbury for over 8 months now for my mum in law, can't fault the care provided and the dedication of the staff who go above and beyond with their help and care, Suzie is amazing she is a true professional in every aspect and the other team members trained by Suzie show the same professionalism in the visit.......thank you Bloomsbury for making such a difference x
