FAQ

What is your teacher-to-student ratio?

At Blooming Babies Day Nursery, we maintain a low teacher-to-student ratio to ensure that each child receives individual attention and care. Our ratio is typically one teacher for every three to four children, depending on the age group.

What type of curriculum do you use?

We use a play-based curriculum that is designed to promote children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Our curriculum is based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, which is the national UK curriculum for children aged 0-5.

Can you provide information on your curriculum and teaching philosophy?

Our curriculum is child-centered and play-based, which means that we focus on each child's interests, strengths, and needs. We use a variety of learning materials and activities, such as sensory play, music and movement, creative arts, and outdoor exploration, to engage and challenge children. Our teaching philosophy is based on building positive relationships with children, families, and staff, and creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.

What measures do you take to ensure the safety and security of students on your premises?

We take the safety and security of our students very seriously at Blooming Babies Day Nursery. We have a secure entrance system that only allows authorized individuals to enter the premises. We conduct regular risk assessments and adhere to health and safety regulations. We have CCTV cameras installed in all areas of the nursery, and all staff members are trained in safeguarding and first aid. We also have a designated safeguarding lead who oversees all safeguarding policies and procedures.

My daughter has attended Blooming Babies for just over a year and absolutely loves it there. All of the staff are so friendly, welcoming and are happy to answer any questions or help in any way they can. Was so pleased to find out they used Tapestry so we can see how she's getting on and what she has been up to during the day. She has learnt so much both socially and academically since attending there which has helped prepare her for reception this year. I would definitely recommend them to other parents and will be sending my son here when he is old enough.
