Sent a long pair of riding boots in for new zips, have come back really saggy as have altered the fit round the calf and really saggy round the heel area of the zip. Not at all satisfied with the result and won’t be going back. Have essentially ruined a very expensive pair of boots. Really untidy stitching also.

Andy has altered and put new zips in my new Petrie riding boots that didn't quite fit. You wouldn't even know the boots have been altered. Turn around was less than a week and everything was done via email, phone and posting the boots as I am over 2 hours away from The Blockley Cobbler. Highly recommend and I will be using for anything else I may need in the future.

Absolutely disgusted at the lack of service provided. Took a pair of brand new riding boots in to be shortened, and was told it would take about 2 weeks to do. The boots were absolutely butchered. The stitching was coming undone, they weren't even symmetrical, i could not believe that someone would return an item like this and think they were fine! They said they would ring me when the boots were ready however nearly 3 weeks on i received no call. My partner collected the boots and expressed that the work was terrible however the man just shrugged his shoulders.My partner tried to ring to discuss the matter to which he hung up on us and would not answer any of our calls, taking no responsibility for the state of the boots. I am appalled at this place and would steer well clear of! Shouldn't even be in business!!!!
