I had an overflowing and blocking outdoor drain. I had a limited window where I could have someone out to help me with it and ‘blocked drains Andover’ were able to fit me in. The good: 1. Came quickly and unblocked drain! Yay! 2. Nice and polite staff The bad: 1. They’re not actually called ‘blocked drains Andover’. They’re ‘drain division’. The website is misleading about that and I probably wouldn’t have called them if I’d known. Read the drain division reviews. 2. WARNING: Their business practices are very shady. They’re very ‘upfront’ about their charges (which is good) but then they do this thing where they say it’s a basic charge of around £4x per half hour. Then if you need jetting it’s another £5x per half hour. Then if it’s a 2 man job it’s more per half hour. And obviously cameras etc are on top of all that. The problem is they show up with two guys and immediately say ‘it’s a two person job’ and who doesn’t need the jet so you end up with all the costs. So it ends up being £300+ for an hour. I’d be surprised if they ever charge for less than an hour. They also upsell. But are nice enough when you say no. Honestly I’m really grateful they were able to sort me out but I do wish I’d managed to find a way to use a more trusted local company as I felt slightly stupid for not realising what they were up to quicker than I did. Perhaps this review will help the next person.
