Mat from Bloc did some structural calculations for some house renovations we were undertaking. On the initial visit to the property Mat was very professional and took time to understand our project and come up with solutions / suggestions on the best way to undertake a removal of a structural wall and how best to support it. Mat produced some excellent detailed drawings which both our builders and Building Control Officers found very easy to work with. We would definitely recommend using Bloc for any structural calculations you may need.

Bloc assisted us with our house renovation. We had planned works over two phases with the second phase to be done in future. Mat came up with some excellent solutions which helped us achieve our current design whilst ‘future proofing’ the house so we’re ready later down the line. In addition he was readily available to the builder who was able to seek assistance through design amends and when the age of our house typically threw up some hidden secrets. Our builder in particular was really grateful for Mat’s in-depth knowledge with solutions that were timely and effective ensuring that the project timeline remained on track. I highly recommend Bloc and would be certain to use them for any further projects we have planned in the future.
