We contacted Lucynda to help us with our dog's reactivity. We've only just started our journey but I already see a massive difference in our lurcher, Missy's engagement. We've got a brilliant plan to follow and all the activities were demonstrated amazingly for us. A couple were even adapted slightly when our dog struggled to grasp them. It made me confident that Lucynda ensures the dogs are set up to succeed, not for failure, and treated as individuals. I can't wait for our next session and I plan to get as many sessions as I can to work on all different forms of obedience with Missy We've also done the introduction to Scentventure course recently and it is amazing! Missy loved it and has so many new skills and ways to keep her focussed on walks!

Have been working with Lucynda on a 1-1 basis with my Cockapoo to reduce her reactivity. Very friendly, sessions have been enjoyable, and were always learning from Lucynda’s experience. Definitely been making progress and now started group sessions so looking forward to even more progress.

I cannot thank Lucynda enough, she is brilliant and shows genuine care and respect for the dogs she trains! She's very understanding and easy to talk with. After searching through a lot of dog trainers in the area we settled on Dakota's Choice because of all the lovely comments and recomendations she receives. I'm so glad we found her because she's already working wonders on our anxious chihuahua who hasn't had the best experiences on walks as of late! I simply cannot recommend her enough! Dakota’s Choice should be the first choice if you are looking for a dog trainer/Walker. Lucynda has been there for myself and Ori since he was 8 weeks (now 5 months) and I can’t imagine how I would have coped without her. Ori is an Irish setter with bags of energy (which I love) but I found it difficult to focus his energy into training. Lucynda’s calm and compassionate approach to training, immediately settled Ori and put him into a ‘learning and listening’ state of mind. He has progressed so much under Lucynda’s training and the advice/help she has given me has allowed me to continue this training independently! So if you are unsure or having a few issues when training your new pup or well loved dog, consider Dakota’s Choice, amazingly priced for a trainer who is dedicated, compassionate and sets you up for success!
